Our Story

Unhinged started with a simple observation: the protein bar and the 3pm coffee were doing two halves of the same job, badly, in two trips.

So we made one thing that does both. A chef-crafted bar with 11–14g of protein and 75mg of natural caffeine — about one espresso — from coffee fruit, paired with L-theanine so it lands smooth and leaves no crash. No seed oils, no preservatives, no sugar alcohols. It won a Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute in Brussels in 2026, which surprised exactly nobody who had tried it and everybody who heard the words “caffeinated protein bar.”

The name is the promise. The people on our site aren’t models — we held an open casting call for the face of the brand, and everyone who went far enough got the part. Keep going.
